Part of the plan for RCL to get cruises sailing is to conduct a series of simulated sailings that are filled with volunteers. So does that mean the Royal Caribbean will be knocking on your door to see if you want to cruise for free?

The cruise world is abuzz with the news from royal Caribbean that when it will resume sailing, it will need volunteers for those test cruises at some point end of this year or early next year. So, does that mean royal Caribbean is looking for someone like you or me tohop on board and test out their cruises.

Royal Caribbean senior vice president of sales trade support and service Vicki Freed said that while details aren’t worked out yet. The company will have a number of trail cruises with volunteers and employees with the goal of convincing the CDC that cruise line can restart operations.

So what this means is the world volunteer is not actually means cruise line is looking for regular people to go on a test cruises. While this is probably is not what you wanted to hear， the good news is that all these people that are eager to get back on cruises shows the cruise industry remains strong despite the shutdown for almost all of 2020.

RCL international president told Wall Street analysts they were surprised by the level of demand for cruises to return to Singapore on quantum of the season. The fact that many people want to make up for their lost 2020 fun with vacations in 2021.
