Recently, the third-phase expansion project of Nanning Kitchen Waste Treatment Plant went into operation. It means that Nanning now has capacity to handle 1,000 tons of organic refuse per day, marking another step in household waste sorting work.
It’s understood that the plant had a total investment of 624 million yuan, being able to handle 600 tons of kitchen waste per day and 400 tons of food waste per day. Its service zone covers all areas within the ring expressway. It had three phases. Compared to the first and second phases, two kitchen waste treatment lines, a food waste treatment line, an affiliated anaerobic system, a wastewater treatment system and a deodorization system have been added. In addition, environmentally-friendly safety facilities of the first and second phases have been comprehensively upgraded, improving production automation and information application levels, and achieving organic integration and mutual switchover of the three phases.
