【struggle用法精析】
(1) struggle (with sb) for/against... (和某人)為……而進行的鬥爭/(和某人)為反對……而進行的鬥爭
Political contests become a struggle for total power.
政治競爭成了奪取全部權力的鬥爭。
(2) struggle (with sb) to do sth(與某人)作鬥爭去做某事
It was a hard struggle with him to make new advances, but he nerved himself to it and entered.
經過一番激烈的思想鬥爭，他鎮定下來，走了進去。
(3) struggle between...and... 在……與……間鬥爭
The long struggle between the strikers and their employers is not yet played out.
罷工者和僱主間的長期鬥爭尚未結束。
(4) struggle for... 為……努力
She struggled for the independence of her country all her life.
她為自己祖國的獨立而奮鬥終身。
(5) struggle against/with... 與……作鬥爭
He struggled against every injustice.
他與一切不公正行為作鬥爭。
(6) struggle along/on 在困難中堅持;勉力維持
The miners struggled along from the only hole.
