雅思口語新題解析:gift

　　Gifts 禮物這個雅思口語話題已經延續了一段時間了，問題也不是很難，基本上就是在詢問我們什麼時候會送禮物啊，送的話大概都送什麼啊，甚至是為啥要送禮物等等。基本上在想內容上大家不會浪費太多的時間，但是可能會有很多生詞大家是不會表達的，譬如說女生喜歡的化妝品，手鍊啊之類的，男生可能就是一些電子產品，模型之類的。建議大家都收集一些相關詞彙，這樣不僅能讓你的答案變得與眾不同，也能一定程度上豐富你的內容。話不多少，我們學起~

　　1. How often do you buy others gifts?

　　2. Do you like to send expensive gifts?

　　3. What kinds of gifts are popular in your country?

　　4. Why do people send gifts?

　　5. Do you think it is important to send gifts?

　　6. When did you get a gift last time?

　　7. Do you send gifts to others during their birthday time?

　　我們重點解決三個問題，第二題 Do you like to send expensive gifts?，你喜不喜歡送貴重的禮物，這個問題沒有什麼準確答案，完全因人而已，我們來看下應該怎麼說。

　　expensive or cheap

　　喜歡送昂貴的：

　　這樣才能顯示我們之間的關係好啊：getting her or him an luxury gifts represent our incomparable friendship

　　但也不會刻意的送， I would not purposely buy expensive gifts every time， unless it is necessary or appropriate

　　如果對方的喜歡的話，錢不是問題

　　if he or she likes it very much ，then the price may not matter in some cases.

　　幾個朋友一起湊錢買： chip in for it with some others friends

　　不喜歡送昂貴的：

　　我是不會送的： sending pricy gifts is not my thing

　　禮物只是用來表達感情或是祝福的： presents are just a way of expressing feelings or affections and giving your wishes

　　實用的 practical

　　不實用的 uneconomic

　　第三題 What kinds of gifts are popular in your country? 首先一看到country這麼大的詞就是知道不能有一個完全統一的答案，因為範圍非常廣，每個人的想法也會不一樣，有些人喜歡實用的禮物，有些人喜歡有創意的小玩意，女生就比較喜歡包包，各種用途的化妝品，衣服，鞋子;男生好像比較簡單一些，電子產品，手錶，錢包，汽車模型之類的。

　　types of gifts

　　他們說喜歡的，可能喜歡的，或者他們需要的

　　they say that they like ，things they might like，or things they need

　　男生：

　　electronic devices 電子產品

　　model cars 汽車模型

　　purse 錢包

　　belt 腰帶

　　lighter 打火機

　　watch 手錶

　　basketball shoes 球鞋

　　女生：

　　makeup=cosmetics 化妝品

　　lipstick 唇膏

　　ornaments 小飾品

　　dolls(toys)玩偶

　　dress (clothes)裙子

　　necklace 項鍊

　　Bracelet 手鐲，手鍊

　　perfume 香水

　　過渡句:

　　我不能說出某一個禮物是在全國都流行的，你知道，因人而異麼。

　　I am not able to elicit one certain gift is always popular, because people really have very different tastes and needs.

　　如果你要是問我的話，有幾個我倒是覺得挺常見的。

　　But if you have to ask, there are several things that are usually picked when giving presents.

　　給男生買東西的話，….會成為首選

　　when we want to buy something for a man，…… will be the top choices/ priority

　　要是女生的話,那就不一樣了

　　when it comes to ladies, things will be totally different.

　　第四題 Why do people send gifts?還有第五題 Do you think it is important to send gifts?

　　本題問的是送禮物的原因，送什麼的話大家可能有不同的想法，但是原因麼基本都是一樣的。

　　為了表達心意或是祝福，例如教師節，母親節，某某的生日，婚禮等等。有的也可能是一種感謝，別人幫了你，你又不好給錢，不做點什麼又顯得沒有禮貌，那就送個小禮物表示心意吧，不僅能禮尚往來，還能增進感情。

　　過渡句：

　　我認為原因肯定是有的，而且大部分情況都是相同的

　　To my knowledge，there are several reasons can explain this behavior，and in most cases they might overlap.

　　大家都造，禮物的作用

　　as we all known，gifts play a pivotal role in conveying affections without actually saying it，and i believe that is the most common reason

　　當然其他的原因也是有的

　　certainly，other explanation is also existed

　　給錢不是很合適

　　It is not proper to give money as return or merely say thank you，sending gifts can deal with this problem perfectly

　　plus it contributes to build relationship
