Sep 30th, 2020. Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in China sent the blessings for National Day of the People's Republic of China and Mid-autumn Festival to Chinese friends in advance. UAE ambassador H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri wrote down eight Chinese characters legibly to express 「Be happy and healthy; May the Country be Prosperous and the People at Peace. 」 to China and Chinese people.

2020. this year, is a special and critical year, which is full of challenges and opportunities. Under Covid-19 epidemic, China and UAE have helped each other and worked together to tide over the crisis together. A series of cooperation has been carried out between China and UAE, openly and sincerely, from national strategy to people’s friendship, from economic to technology and sports. China and UAE have become the practitioners of co-constructing the 「Shared Future of Mankind」, which has deepen the relationships between peoples along the 「Belt and Road」. UAE ambassador H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri has built the rainbow bridge between China and UAE with the 「China Red」 in his heart. From the very beginning of the Chinese New Year, to the China’s National Day in Oct, H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri has hosted and attended various kinds of meetings and activities online and offline, which have brought a more picturesque, more lively and more kindly UAE and Abu Dhabi to Chinese people.

On the lunar New Year’s Day, H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri and his lovely daughter Sara, sent 「Chinese New Year Blessings」 in Chinese. The Chinese character 「Fortune」 showed their love to China most vividly.

On Lantern Festival, H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri celebrated this festival for the third time as Ambassador in China. He expressed heartedly that, he was with Chinese friends at this special time of this year - let’s stay strong and work together as we move forwards towards the green shoots of spring!

During the Sino-Arab Virtual Culture Week, H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri hosted the 「Future Culture Meeting」. China and UAE enhance the mutual understanding and promote bilateral relationships through culture and languages. How time flies! In summer days, H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri wrote down Chinese characters again with full blessings to students, cheering for the College Entrance Examination.

In the footprints of H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri, his China Complex is diffusing in the Beijing’s Hutong, sowing in the mountains and rivers, flowing in every Chinese festival. In the Dragon Boat Festival, H.E. Dr. AliObaid Al Dhaheri and officials of the embassy were making 「Zong Zi」. He filled traditional Chinese food with full love.

Looking back to the period, when Covid-19 centralized outbreak in China, so many landmarks in UAE lighted up for China, sending blessings and cheering for China. On Apr 4th, 2020. the Crown Prince and Vice Commander-in-chief of armed forces of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan wrote 「Today, we stand with China!」 in three different languages.
