External Projections for Passenger Car
1. SCOPE
This standard specifies the general requirements, particular specifications and inspection methods of external projections for M1 vehicles as specified in GB/T 15089-2001.
This standard is applicable to external projections of M1 vehicles.
This standard is applicable both when the vehicle is stationary and in motion, but not applicable to exterior rear-view mirrors or ball towing devices.

3. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The following terminologies and definitions are applicable to this standard.

車輛型式vehicle type
在類似於外表面形狀或材料等主要方面沒有差異的同一型式的車輛。

外表面external surface
車輛覆蓋件的可見表面，包括發動機罩、行李箱蓋、車門、翼子板、車頂、照明及燈光信號裝置和可見的加強筋等。

底線floor line
按以下方法確定的線：
取一個半角為30。的圓錐體（自行確定錐高．以操作方便為原則，錐頂向上，錐軸與水平面垂直） ，使其沿一滿載車輛的車身外表面可接觸的最低位置連續接觸，這些接觸點的幾何軌跡即是底線。確定底線時，不考慮起重器支承點、排氣管或車輪的因素。車輪上的拱形間隙可假想成填平後所形成的連續光滑表面，在確定汽車兩端的底線時，應考慮保險槓。對某一具體車型，錐體接觸點可能在保險槓的端頭或在保險槓下面的車身板件上。如果同時有兩個或兩個以上的接觸點，應取最下面的接觸點來確定底線。

圓角半徑radius of curvature
假想部分最接近圓形的圓弧半徑。

滿載車輛laden vehicle
裝至技術上允許的最大總質量的車輛。如果車輛裝備有液氣、液力或空氣懸掛裝置，或隨載荷變化的自動穩定裝置，應按製造廠規定正常行駛條件下的最不利狀況裝載。
