When you receive an email but you are very busy, respond with a short confirmation of receipt of the email and address the email later when you have time on your hands.
Understand how the person wants to be referred to, from their signatures or from the tone of the email. Or simply, stick to using one of these: Mr/Miss/Mrs/Madam/Sir

Never use jargons or slangs in business emails.
Take necessary precautions when addressing new contacts. Your 『elevator pitch』 is needed here and formality does count here.
Signature notes: refrain from highly provocative, religious, spiritual, emotional or sexual statement.
In cases where emails are very long, use bullet points to make it concise.
Edit subjects when replying or forwarding emails.
