一. 英文和中文，哪裡不一樣？
1) Yes的意思為「是的」，主要放於句首，用來回答表示「同意或肯定」的意思。
2) No的意思是「不」，主要放於句首，用來回答他人的提問，表示否定的意思。
而在句子中的「不」要用「not」來表示。不過要特別注意的是，中文會講「不是」，但英文卻要講成「是不」，用「be動詞＋not」表示。
二. 必學重點
1) Yes常放在句首，用於回答表示「同意或肯定」；Yes後面要加逗號。
2) No放於句首，用於回答表示否定的意思；not放於句中使用，表示「不」的意思。中文講「不是」；英文要講「是不」。

1) 她是一位好醫生嗎？是的，她是一位好醫生。
①中文 = 英文-> 她是一位好醫生嗎？= Is she a good doctor?（√）
②中文 = 英文-> 是的，她是一位好醫生。= Yes, she is a good doctor.（√）
常見錯誤：Yes she is a good doctor.（×）
Yes後面要加逗號！用Yes回答問題的方法
①把Is搬到主語的後面。-> Is she a good doctor?
②把問號改成句號。 -> she is a good doctor.
③在前面加上Yes. -> Yes, she is a good doctor.
2、No的分析
1) 她是一位好醫生嗎？不，她不是一位好醫生。
①中文 = 英文-> 她是一位好醫生嗎？= Is she a good doctor?（√）
②中文 = 英文-> 不，她不是一位好醫生。= No, she is not a good doctor. （×）
常見錯誤：No she not is a good doctor.（×）
No和Yes一樣，後面要加逗號，英文裡「不是」，要講成「是不」＝is not！用No回答問題的方法

2、No的練習
「說不」是一種藝術，但用英文就沒有那麼深奧啦！只要把no和not放在正確的地方就好！

3)那張書桌（desk）是小的。-> That desk is small.
4)那張書桌不是小的 。-> That desk is not small.
5)你是胖的。-> You are fat.
6)你是胖的嗎？-> Are you fat?
7)不，我不是胖的。-> No, I am not fat.
8)這隻狗是髒的。-> This dog is dirty.
9)這隻狗是髒的嗎？-> Is this dog dirty?
10)不，它不是髒的。-> No, it is not dirty.
11)那個媽媽（mother）是瘦的。-> That mother is thin.
12)那個媽媽是瘦的嗎？-> Is that mother thin?
13)不，那個媽媽不是瘦的。-> No, that mother is not thin.
14)這些書是新的。-> These books are new.
15)這些書是新的嗎？-> Are these books new?
