I am particularly proud and happy about the young filmmakers, actors, singers, writers, producers that are coming up behind my generation, in particular Barry Jenkins. Young people understand, this young man made 10, 15, 20 short films before he got the opportunity to make Moonlight, so never give up. Without commitment you'll never start, but more importantly, without consistency you'll never finish. It's not easy. Ease is a greater threat to progress than hardship. So keep moving, keep growing, keep learning. See you at work.
I am particularly proud and happy about 我尤其引以為傲和高興的是
是什麼呢？緊接著是系列職業的年輕從業者：
the young filmmakers, actors, singers, writers, producers年輕的電影製作人、演員、歌手、作家、製片人
然後是that引導的定語從句，來具體修飾這些人：
that are coming up behind my generation, 正在崛起的我身後的下一代人，
come up我們之前學過，意思是「走上來、走過來」，不過come up也可以抽象地表示「身份提高」，也就是「崛起」。
理解為：我尤其引以為傲和高興的事情是，在我之後的下一代，年輕的電影製作人、演員、歌手、作家、製片人正在崛起，
不過到這裡這個句子還沒完，後面還專門提到了一個人名字：
in particular Barry Jenkins. 尤其是巴裡·傑金斯。
in particular和開頭出現的particularly，都表示「尤其、特別」，區別在於：
particularly是副詞，一般是修飾動詞或者形容詞，比如說：I enjoyed the play, particularly the second half.（我喜歡這場比賽，尤其是下半場。）這裡的particularly修飾的就是enjoy，表示「特別喜歡」。或者說：We』ve been particularly busy these days.（這些日子我們尤為忙碌。）這裡的particularly修飾的是busy，表示「特別忙」。
而in particular，因為有介詞in（在其中），所以一般是用於突出一系列名詞當中的一個，比如說：I like music, jazz in particular.（我喜歡音樂，尤其是爵士樂。）
Young people understand,年輕人明白，
this young man made 10, 15, 20 short films 這個小夥子拍了十部、十五部、二十部短片
然後是時間狀語：
before he got the opportunity to make Moonlight, 在他有機會拍《月光男孩》之前，
也就是說：這個小夥子拍了這麼多短片之後，才有機會去拍攝《月光男孩》這種真正意義上的大電影。
so never give up.所以不要放棄。
來看看丹澤爾·華盛頓是怎麼總結的：
Without commitment you'll never start, 沒有承諾，你就永遠不會開始，
這裡所謂的commitment（承諾），指的是「下決心要投入自己的精力去把一件事做好」。
but more importantly,但更重要的是，
without consistency you'll never finish. 沒有始終如一，你就永遠無法完成。
It's not easy.這並不容易。
這裡的it指的就是能夠在電影行業打拼出成績來。
然後就是一句整個演講片段當中最有力的點睛之筆：
Ease is a greater threat 安逸是一個更大的威脅
對於什麼來說呢？然後是介詞to表示「對於」：
to progress對於進步來說
既然是「更大的」威脅，那肯定是有一個比較的對象的，這個對象也就是：
than hardship.比苦難。
也就是說：相比苦難來講，安逸對於進步的威脅更大。
在這段演講的最後，他就連續用了三個同樣的句型來向下一代年輕人提出了要求：
So keep moving, keep growing, keep learning. 所以繼續努力，繼續成長，繼續學習。

很少看到在一個頒獎典禮的獲獎感言上，能夠這麼結尾的，沒有過多的感謝詞，也沒有過多大話空話，直接很粗暴地說「工作中見」，用網上一個美國觀眾的評論來說：「那句「工作中見」比把麥克風甩到地上還要冷」（That "see you at work" close was colder than dropping the mic.）
