《Night is right for me》對我來說，夜晚才是正確的。
這是一個關於小貓明白什麼才是正確的故事。剛開始，小貓白天睡覺，晚上活動。其他的小動物都說他做得不對，應該白天活動，晚上睡覺。
小貓虛心接受了別人的意見，決定改變自己的生活方式，和大家一樣。
可是結果呢？一切都不對頭了。
晚上睡，白天活動的小貓把鬆餅扔到了電扇上，騎不了自行車，遊泳沉下去，滑滑梯都會出錯，生活變成了一團糟。
最後，小貓明白了。別人眼中正確的事情，不一定適合自己。
小貓重新回到了晝伏夜出的生活中，並且自信地告訴狗狗們：「對於貓咪來說，晝伏夜出才是正確的生活方式。」
故事中的小貓經歷了自我懷疑，終於明白了，人云亦云不一定就是對的。適合自己的生活方式，哪怕在別人看起來很怪，也要堅持下去。
《Night is right for me》
Poor Nat the cat gets things all wrong. 可憐的小貓把事情搞顛倒了。
He sleeps all day, not all night long. 他白天睡覺，而不是夜裡。
Nat plays when dogs are all in bed. 奈特在狗狗們睡覺的時候玩耍。
"Why can't he sleep?"the dogs all said. 小狗們都問，為什麼他能不睡覺？
The dogs said, "Nat, just get things right! Stay up all day,and sleep all night!"
狗狗們說，「奈特，你需要改一改。白天醒著晚上睡覺。」
"I'ss try it for a day or two,"said Nat. 我會試一兩天。
"Then I can be like you. " 然後我就能像你們大家一樣了。
Nat played all day. 奈特玩了整個白天。
He napped all night. 他睡了一整晚。
The dogs said,"Now he'll do things right. " 狗狗們說，「現在他總算作對了。」
But when day came and Nat woke up, he washed his fish, and fed his cup.
但是當有一個白天到來時，奈特洗了他的寵物魚，餵了杯子。
He flipped pancakes. 他翻鬆餅。
They missed the pan. 鬆餅錯過了鍋。
They missed the palate. 鬆餅錯過了盤子。
They hit the fan. 鬆餅擊中了吊扇。
So Nat the cat went out to play. 奈特出去玩。
He got his bike. 他找到了自己的自行車。
It rode away! 自行車跑走了。
Then Nst the cat went off to swim. 於是奈特去遊泳。
His float lost air and sank on him. 他的救生圈漏氣了，沉下去了。
Then down the slide Nat went too hard. 然後奈特在滑梯上滑得太猛了。
He landed in the dogs' back yard. 他直接落在了狗狗們的後院。
「This does not work!」 這樣不行。
"I am a mess!" 我簡直一團糟。
"I get things wrong!" 所有的事情都不對了。
The dogs said, "Yes!" 狗狗們回答。「是的。」
So Nat went home, yes ,home to saty. 所以奈特回家了，是的，回家待著了。
He napped all night. 他睡了一晚。
He napped all day. 他睡了一白天。
When it got dark and Nt woke up, 當天色暗下來，奈特醒過來，
he fed his fish and washed his cup. 他餵了魚，然後洗了杯子。
He flipped pancakes right on his palte —not in the fan!
他將鬆餅扔到盤子上，而不是吊扇上。
He ate and ate! 他吃了又吃。
Nat got his bike and rode away. 奈特找到自行車，騎著走了。
He fixed his float. 他修好了自己的遊泳圈。
"I'll swim and play!" 我要好好有用和玩耍。
「I'll try the slide, and get it right.」 我要試試滑梯，滑得正確些。
"It's really best to swim at night." 晚上遊泳最好了。
He told the dogs, "For cats it's best with nights for play and days for rest."
他告訴狗狗們，「對於貓咪來說，最好就是晚上玩耍白天休息。」
「So that is what is best for me,」said Nat the cat. 「所以那對我最好，」奈特說。
