深藏在上海市中心的弄堂之內，Whisper Bar以富有雕塑性的姿態營造了一個集酒吧、咖啡、品鑑、活動功能的綜合性場地。在此項目中，Digitects不僅以設計師的身份介入，也同樣是酒吧股東之一。其角色的增加，帶來的變化不僅是在初期更加緊密地結合設計與商業策略，也是在有限的預算內更加極致地落實設計細節。
Hidden in the alley of downtown Shanghai, Whisper bar using a sculptural gesture to create a comprehensive space accommodating whisky, coffee, tasting and event functions. Digitects involved the project not only as of the designer but also one of the bar owners. The change in its role helps to integrate design and business strategy closely in the initial stage and implement the design details thoroughly within the tight budget as well.

整體空間分為地上與地下兩部分：地上輕快的酒吧展現出年輕、有藝術性的氛圍；相反地，地下私人俱樂部的態度更為私密與嚴肅。作為顧客感官與情緒的鋪墊，兩層空間由一個神秘的隱藏門分開，然後通過一個幽暗的、儀式感的樓梯向地下延伸。
The space is simply divided into two parts: the ground floor and the basement, intended for two different groups of customers. The open bar on the ground floor shows a young, artistic atmosphere, on the contrary, the speakeasy club on the basement level is more private and serious. Leading by a hidden door, go through a dark and ceremonial staircase, the ground floor is extending together with the changes in the customers』 senses and emotions.

受到達達主義的啟發，通過有機而又克制生長的原有結構看似有些荒誕，感覺上」不像是屬於這個空間的」。其突兀的造型增強了空間的戲劇感，也創造了一個獨一無二的飲酒氣氛。其幾何構造的圍合姿態，加上金屬簾半通透的阻隔，使得入座的顧客感到更加的私密與舒適。
Inspired by Dadaism, the organic and restrained growth of the original structure looks absurd, feels like 「doesn’t belong to here」. Its abrupt profile rises the dramatic sense of the space and emerges a unique drinking atmosphere. The enclosed geometry and the transparent aluminium curtain create privacy and intimacy while seating there.

一進門後呈現的是無限鏡形式的酒櫃與玄關。其中懸掛的酒瓶搭配彩色的燈光，表現出一種重複、夢幻的視覺體驗。酒櫃內的玻璃經過特殊處理，既保證了入口處的效果，也對室內座位的影響降低到最小。吧檯下部的燈光從頂部射入透明亞克力管內，相同的色彩搭配強化了這種輕鬆的氛圍。
The first thing that shows up after enter the door is the whisky showcase which made of reflective glass and steel frame. Suspended whisky bottles with colour lights project a repetitive and dramatic visual effect. The glass in the whisky showcase is customized, which not only ensure the brightness from the entrance but also minimise the influence to the seating area. The transparent acrylic tubes at the bar are lighted up from the top part, the same colour scheme intensify the relaxing atmosphere of drinking.

來到地下後，會先到達等待區。功能性上等待區連接著兩個包廂、廁所與儲藏室，是地下的核心空間。其中可移動的酒櫃與圓桌提供了酒品選擇與品鑑的空間。與樓上相似，整面牆面採用了鏡子，增加了空間的複雜性，成為了一個顧客私下聊天的理想空間。
When arriving the basement, the first place is the waiting room. Functionally, it is the core of the basement, connecting two VIP rooms, toilet and storage. The movable whisky showcase and the round table provide an ideal space for tasting and selection, as well as the private conversations. Like the ground floor, one side of the wall uses mirror to add the complexity to the space.

大包廂用紅絲絨布簾分隔成了三部分，也可以在需要的時候進行合併，增加了空間的靈活性。同時，牆體維持了拆除工作後的原始面貌，創造出一種粗糲的地下室形象。一米高的棕紅色皮質牆裙適當的增加了視覺與觸覺的柔軟度。彩色玻璃和雕塑質感的裝飾大大增強了地下室的儀式感，營造出一種神秘與尊貴的消費體驗。
The large VIP room is separated into three parts by red velvet curtains. The flexibility makes sure the space can be combined when necessary. At the same time, the wall remained the original appearance after the demolition, showing an image of rough unpolished basement. One-metre-high red leather wainscot adds the softness visually and physically. The decoration of the coloured glass and the sculpture enhances the ritual sense of the basement, creating a mysterious exclusive club experience.
