每日一句英譯英：decode(解碼)，declassify呢？
decode和declassify是什麼意思？
今天無意看到一部電視劇《解密》，也沒花時間看它講什麼內容，只看到它的片頭裡「解密」是decode這個英語單詞。
我瞬間「不對吧？」起來，「解密」怎麼是decode呢？按照「解密」中文字面理解，應該是「解除原本是機密的文件」才叫「解密」呀！
後來翻出它的劇情介紹：它的劇目果然是「破除一系列解碼」的意思，題目英文decode果然沒用錯。但是，看來我這個中國人對漢字「解密」都不見得懂得它什麼意思。
見到中文「解密」，你的第一個理解是什麼？會理解成「解碼」嗎？
1) decode的英譯英
decode的中文的確是「解碼」。

但是，你必須記住decode的這些簡單英語。
2) declassify的英譯英
declassify的中文的確是「解密」。
我們也知道，「秘密」的等級一般分三等：secret(秘密)，confidential(機密) and top secret(絕密)。

從英語裡，我們可以清楚地看出decode和declassify的根本區別。
