「開花」用英文怎麼說？

說到開花，大家是不是想到了open flowers？開花可不是這麼說的！
開花的確可以用open表達，但正確的表達是花開了，flowers open。還有個大家可能想不到的表達：produce flowers，這才是開花！
另外flower也可以直接表示開花。flower既可以作名詞，表示花、花卉；也可以作動詞，表示開花，大家注意，是不及物的哦！
Eg
As the weather gets warmer, the flowers open.
天氣變暖，花開了。
The plant will produce beautiful trumpet-shaped flowers.
這個植物會開出漂亮的喇叭狀花朵。
bloom & blossom
[blu m] [ bl s m]
bloom和blossom這兩個詞不僅長得像，意思也都和flower類似。
bloom作名詞，表示觀賞類的花；作動詞，是表示開花，也是不及物動詞。詞組in full bloom表示盛開。
順便安利一下小洛很喜歡的一個歐美明星，Orlando Bloom，因為他的姓Bloom，所以粉絲給他的取了一個中文暱稱：開花。
blossom和bloom意思類似，作名詞時也指花，一般指樹上或灌木上開的花。用法一致，in full blossom 也表示盛開。

萬紫千紅，陽光明媚的春天已經來了。
It is warm, so many flowers are beginning to blossom.
天氣暖和了，很多花都要開了。
bloom和blossom除了表示開花，還可以用來形容人，表示一個人變得更加健康自信。形容人大器晚成時，就可以說他是late bloomer。
Eg
Although Frank is a late bloomer, his accomplishment can hardly be equaled by people of his age.
儘管弗蘭克是大器晚成，可他的成就幾乎是同齡人無法比擬的。
