Flight Attendant Grounded for Playing with Smartphone in Flight

　　A flight attendant has been grounded by Shandong Airlines (SC) for playing with her smartphone on Flight SC4912 when the airplane was leveling off.


　　The purser Li Jie and the flight attendant in first class Yang Nan were playing with a smartphone in flight, and they played with the smartphone for 30 minutes, according to a Weibo post written by a passenger who was flying on the flight from Urumqi to Yinchuan on Oct. 13.


　　Shandong Airlines quickly responded to the post. Shandong Airlines said in a statement released on Oct. 14 that, the flight attendant had admitted to using smartphone during the flight. She has been grounded by the airline for violating Chinese aviation regulations and the rules of the company.
