用英語「問路」和「指路」是大家在異國他鄉生活中經常遇到的場景。不過，現在國內的外國友人越來越多，很多朋友們不出國門也經常在路上遇到外國美女和帥哥問路。那麼我們就一起來學習如何正確有效的用英語問路和給別人指路。
我們先通過三個對話來學習問路與指路的基本句型。最後大家可以通過一個小測驗來檢查掌握情況。
對話1：
Tim: Excuse me.
勞駕（對不起，麻煩問一下）。
Mei: Yes?
什麼?
Tim: How do I get to the Sanlitun, please?
我怎麼去三裡屯？
Mei: It’s not far. Go straight on then turn right at the end of the road.
離這兒不遠，一直往前走，走到頭兒向右拐。
Tim: Thanks.
謝謝。
Mei: You’re welcome.
不客氣。
對話2：
Paul: Excuse me, can you tell me the way to the Forbidden City, please?
勞駕，你能不能告訴我去故宮的路怎麼走？
Wei: Sure. Go straight on down this road, take the second left and then the first right. It’s next to Tiananmen Square.
當然可以。順著這條路往前走，到第二個路口向左轉，然後見第一個路口再向右轉。就在天安門廣場的旁邊。
Paul: Thank you.
謝謝。
Wei: Don’t mention it.
不客氣。
對話3：
Ling: Excuse me, is there a Chinese supermarket near here?
請問，這附近有沒有中國超市?
Jill: Yes, there is a supermarket in Chinatown.
有。中國城就有中國超市。
Ling: Where’s Chinatown?
那中國城在哪兒？
Jill: It’s to the north of Trafalgar Square.
在特拉法加廣場的北面。
Jack: Thank you very much.
謝謝。
Jill: You’re welcome.
不客氣。
請注意：
如果你不知道某地在何處，就可以直接告訴對方：
I am sorry, I don’t know. 對不起，我不知道。
或者在路比較遠的情況下，你可以建議問路者乘坐公共汽車、計程車或地鐵:
You need to take a bus. 你需要坐公共汽車。
You need to take the metro. 你需要坐地鐵。
You need to take a taxi. 你需要坐計程車。
常用句型:
How do I get to…? 去某處該怎麼走……?
Can you tell me the way to…? 你能不能告訴我去…… 的路該怎麼走?
Where is…? ……在哪兒？
Is there a… near here? 附近有沒有……？
Go straight on. 一直往前。
Turn right. 向右轉。
Turn left. 向左轉。
Take the first right. 第一個路口右轉。
Take the second left. 第二個路口左轉。
It’s in the north of…? 在……的北邊。
It’s to the west of…? 在……的西邊。
It’s opposite…? 在……的對面。
It’s next to…? 在……的旁邊。
