阿爾伯特·愛因斯坦(1879.3.14-1955.4.18)猶太裔物理學家。他於1879年出生於德國烏爾姆市的一個猶太人家庭(父母均為猶太人)，1900年畢業於蘇黎世聯邦理工學院，入瑞士國籍。1905年，獲蘇黎世大學哲學博士學位，愛因斯坦提出光子假設，成功解釋了光電效應，因此獲得1921年諾貝爾物理獎，同年，創立狹義相對論。1915年創立廣義相對論。愛因斯坦為核能開發奠定了理論基礎，在現代科學技術和他的深刻影響下與廣泛應用等方面開創了現代科學新紀元，被公認為是繼伽利略、牛頓以來最偉大的物理學家。1999年12月26日，愛因斯坦被美國《時代周刊》評選為"世紀偉人"。
愛因斯坦個人生活情況：1879年3月14日上午11時30分，愛因斯坦出生在德國烏爾姆市 Ulm，KingdomofWürttemberg，GermanEmpire班霍夫街135號。父母都是猶太人。父親：HermannEinstein（赫爾曼·愛因斯坦）生日1847年8月30日，愛因斯坦出生時32歲；母親：PaulineKoch（保玲·科赫）生日1858年2月8日，愛因斯坦出生時21歲。1881年11月18日，愛因斯坦的妹妹瑪婭在慕尼黑出生。愛因斯坦與前妻米列娃有一個未婚私生女麗瑟爾（1902年（壬寅年）—1963年），不過在1903年到1919年愛因斯坦娶了米列娃，後來米列娃為愛因斯坦生了兩個兒子漢斯·愛因斯坦和愛德華·愛因斯坦。愛因斯坦的第二任妻子愛爾莎是他的堂姐的表姐，他們的母親是親姐妹，他們的曾祖父都是魯普特·愛因斯坦。這個婚姻從1919年到1936年愛爾莎逝世。愛因斯坦的二兒子愛德華受米列娃家庭遺傳的影響患有精神分裂症，一生未娶。大兒子漢斯·愛因斯坦是美國伯克利加州大學的水利工程教授，有三個孩子，大兒子伯恩哈德·凱撒·愛因斯坦是一名物理學家，二兒子KlausMartin（1932—1938年），以及養女。伯恩哈德·凱撒·愛因斯坦有五個孩子，其中最小的孩子託馬斯·愛因斯坦成為了一名醫生，保羅·愛因斯坦是小提琴家。愛因斯坦孫子伯爾尼哈德·凱撒·愛因斯坦的書信記錄爺爺愛因斯坦最珍愛的物品是小提琴和菸斗。
1980年代末，著名的天才愛因斯坦的女兒 Lieserl 出於對父親的命令而不是為了出版，將愛因斯坦寫的1400封信捐給了希伯來大學。一直到愛因斯坦死後20年才公開其中的內容。這一封就是他寫給女兒 Lieserl 的信。
