睡前故事 | The Little Red Hen

非我們的外教聲優 Eric 莫屬

今天給孩子們講故事的是一名高大威猛的警察 Eric Anderson 先生，他曾被譽為「警察中的最美聲音」。為了更好地陪伴可愛的女兒，他再次回到大學進修ESL課程。

目前他在加拿大擁有自己的錄音工作室，專門為各大品牌以及大型賽事配音。2015年，Eric在9歲女兒的鼓勵下，加入金沃斯在線英語教育中心，成為了我們的專業導師。他認為：「Children learning is the most beautiful thing.」

今天這個有趣的外教聲優要給我們帶來什麼故事呢？快來聽聽吧！

One day, Little Red Hen was doing some farm work when she found some grains of wheat. 

一天，小紅母雞在幹活兒的時候發現了一些麥粒兒

"Who will help me plant this wheat into the field?" she asked. 

"Not me," said the dog. 

"Not me," said the cat. 

"Not me, either." said the pig. 

"Then I will do it myself," said the Little Red Hen. 

So she planted the grains of wheat into the field. 

「誰來幫我把這些麥粒兒種到地裡去呀？」 小紅母雞問

「我不去。」 小狗說

「我不去。」 小貓說

「我也不去。」 小豬說

「那麼，我自己來種。」 小紅母雞說

於是，她就把麥粒兒種到了地裡。

When the wheat was tall and ripe she asked, 

"Who will help me harvest this wheat?" 

"Not me," said the dog. 

"Not me," said the cat. 

"Not me, either." said the pig. 

"Then I will do it myself," said the Little Red Hen. 

當麥子長得又高又壯，已經成熟的時候，小紅母雞又問

「誰來幫我收割這些麥子呀？」

「我不去。」 小狗說

「我不去。」 小貓說

「我也不去。」 小豬說

「那麼，我自己來收。」 小紅母雞說

She harvested the wheat and ground it into white flour. 

When the flour was ready she asked, 

"Who will help me make some bread with this flour?" 

"Not me," said the dog. 

"Not me," said the cat. 

"Not me, either." said the pig. 

"Then I will do it myself," said the Little Red Hen. 

她把麥子割下來，然後又把它們磨成了雪白的麵粉。

麵粉磨好之後，小紅母雞又問，

「誰來幫我用這些麵粉做些麵包呀？」

「我不去。」 小狗說

「我不去。」 小貓說

「我也不去。」 小豬說

「那麼我自己來做。」 小紅母雞說

Soon, the smell of fresh-baked bread filled the whole farmyard. 

When the bread was ready, the little Red Hen asked, 

"Who will help me eat this bread? " 

"Me me me! " said the dog. 

"Me me me! " said the cat. 

"Me, too! " said the pig. 

"No, you won't," said the Little Red Hen, 

 "I will eat it, myself. " 

不一會兒，新烤好的麵包的香味就瀰漫了整個農場。

麵包做好之後，小紅母雞又問，

「誰來幫我吃這些麵包呀？」

「我，我，我！」 小狗說

「我，我，我！」 小貓說

「還有我！」 小豬說

「不，你們才不想吃呢，」 小紅母雞說，

「我還是自己吃吧！」
