校園位於伯明罕Edgbaston區，交通便利，有多處公交車站和園內火車站。
學校設備
圖書館藏書超過250萬冊，同時配有光碟、錄像帶、磁帶、微縮膠捲及聯網資料庫以備檢索，並配有檢索技巧培訓課程。伯明罕大學每位學生均有自己的Email地址，遍布校園的計算機房均24小時開放。
住宿服務
學校負責向新生提供住宿，有學生宿舍樓和夥食自理樓，學生可自由選擇。學生宿舍樓提供早、晚餐，並有專人負責清潔房間，房間內有必要的設施，每棟樓還有專職生活老師;飲食自理樓通常是4—6個學生合住一個房間，合用廚房與浴室。如果學生未能成功申請到校園內的宿舍，也有少數住宿家庭可供選擇。學校有留學生中心，負責向海外學生提供各項諮詢以及英語強化課程。當然，學生也可以使用學校提供的其他一系列學生服務設施。

入學要求
隨時申請，申請需完整填寫學校申請表，提供畢業證書， 成績單及英文翻譯件，還需另外提交學校老師及工作單位推薦信。
語言要求：TOEFL550 或 IELTS6.0以上
英語語言課程
學校有一處專門針對海外學生而設立的英語語言中心，學生除免費使用語音室、錄象室外，還開設相應的英語學習課程，並配有專職老師修改寫作。
開學日期
每年九月開學，整個學年分成三個學期。
Introduction to the University oF Birmingham
The University of Birmingham was granted its royal charter in 1900. As the 21st century begins, it is prospering across all its seven faculties: arts, commerce and social science, education, engineering, law, medicine and dentistry, and science. This range means that the opportunities it offers students are impressive, as is the careers service.
Among the courses that have done well are engineering, sociology, history of art, German and French.
Accomodation varies depending on whether you live in university housing or in one of Edgbaston or Birmingham's plentiful private rooms. All first years are guaranteed accommodation, since the university has housing for more than 5,000.
Birmingham University is based on a 230-acre site in Edgbaston, three miles from the centre of Birmingham. The campus, with its grass, trees and lake, is green, particularly in contrast to the giant of the Midlands just down the road.
Birmingham, balti heaven, has generated an exciting nightlife over recent years. For those happy to remain on campus, the students' union lays on a vast range of entertainment, with a number of nightclubs, bars and places to eat.
Famous alumni are thick on the ground in entertainment and politics, including Hilary Armstrong MP, Ann Widdecombe MP, Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran, David Lodge and Victoria Wood.
Birmingham also has good transport links from anywhere in the country.
