根據ETS官網消息，託福正式推出在家考試服務（TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition）。
此項服務主要針對受疫情影響考生無法參加考試的地區，允許學生在家使用自己的電腦考試，同時由一名來自ProctorU的在線監考員（human proctor online）監考。

To meet the needs of students who are unable to take the TOEFL iBT test at a test center due to public health concerns, ETS is temporarily offering the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test in selected areas. The test is identical in content, format and on-screen experience to the TOEFL iBT test taken at a test center. It is taken on your own computer at home and is securely monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU.
自3月23日起，ETS計劃在以下考區開通此項服務：
美國、加拿大、哥倫比亞、法國、德國、義大利、西班牙、中國香港、中國澳門
希望參加此項考試的同學需保證家中有符合要求的電腦，同時有一個符合考試環境的房間。
所以，正如官方此前透露的，中國大陸地區暫未開通此項服務。

The test is offered in your country or location.
As of March 23, 2020 (at 13:00 UTC), the test is available in the United States, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hong Kong (China) and Macau (China).
You must have computer equipment that meets the requirements for the test.
You must have a room that provides an acceptable environment for the test.
根據ETS官網要求，在家考託福遵循以下流程：
在註冊考試前前需首先保證電腦和測試環境。
電腦方面，此項服務不支持Mac電腦或iOS作業系統。
因此考生必須使用安裝了Windows系統的臺式機或筆記本電腦：
You must be alone in a room with no one else entering during the test.
考試開始後，房間內不能有其他人，因此禁止在公共場所進行考試。
The tabletop and surrounding area must be clear of all items not approved for use during the test.
電腦和鍵盤必須放在桌面上，並且考試過程中周圍不能有任何監考官禁止的物品出現。
Download and install the ETS Secure Browser on the computer you will use for the test.
在家考託福需要考生自行聯繫ETS預約考試。報名時考生須
參加考試的考生需安裝ETS的安全瀏覽器。
Follow the installation directions on screen.
If the installation is successful, you will see this screen:
Link to the ProctorU System Check from the computer you will use for the test.
由於監考由ProctorU執行，考生還將收到ProctorU的郵件，確定考試日期及時間。
需要更改考試時間，需進入ProctorU的頁面進行重新預約。考試之前考生都可以更改日期和時間。
如果想要取消考試，則須在考前4天聯繫ETS取消。同時，和常規考試一樣，ETS會收取一定退考費用。
Follow the directions on screen.
If your system check is successful, you will see this screen:
During the test, a human proctor will monitor you (via video camera) and your computer screen to ensure you follow all testing procedures.
考試過程中，監考員將通過攝像頭全程監督你。考試全過程將會被錄下來，也會對考生進行拍照，照片將作為成績單的一部分寄送給學校。
Your entire test session will be recorded and your photo will be taken. Your photo from the test session will be shared with institutions as part of your TOEFL iBT score report.
到達考試約定時間後，考生有15分鐘的時間進行登錄check in。如果考生超時登錄，考試將被取消，考試費用將不予退回。
Select 「Start Session.」
點擊「Start Session」即可進入考試。
Complete the authentication steps, which include showing your ID to the proctor. The name on your ID must match the name on your ETS account.
考生須按要求完成認證步驟，包括將證件呈現給監考員。證件上的姓名需與考生註冊姓名一致。
The proctor will review the exam rules and request access to your computer screen for monitoring purposes.
監考員將介紹考試規則，並將要求獲得監控你電腦屏幕的授權。
The proctor will ask you to use either a hand-held mirror or cell phone to show your computer screen.
考試過程中，考生的任何可疑舉動都可能會使考試無效。
考生禁止使用任何未被允許的電子設備、紙張、圖書。
The proctor will ask you to use the camera on your computer to show a 360-degree view of the room, including your tabletop surface.
監考員將要求考生360度旋轉攝像頭，以檢查周圍環境，包括考生的桌面。
When directed by the proctor, you will launch the ETS secure web browser. The proctor will provide the password to access the test.

You will receive your scores in your ETS account 6–10 days after your test. Your scores will be sent to any institutions that you selected during registration.

You can order additional score reports from your ETS account.
成績將被寄送給選擇的學校。考生可追加寄送學校。
For either test, you cannot test more than once within a 3-day period.
如果想再次參加託福在家考試，重複上述操作即可。兩次考試最短間隔為3天。
