At about 16:30 on the 15th, a traffic accident occurred in the west to east lane at the Huaqiang intersection of Shennan Avenue.

From the pictures provided by Shenzhen traffic police officer Wei and netizens, we see that a white vehicle hit the guardrail in the middle of Shennan Avenue and pulled the guardrail all the way to the sidewalk on the other side of the road, making the other side of the road completely impassable.

Due to slow traffic flow at the time of the incident, there was no major accident at the scene, but traffic going both ways on Shennan Avenue was blocked.

So what happened?

Were there any injuries?

No one was injured at the scene

Shenzhen traffic police arrived at the scene immediately after the incident. According to the traffic police, the accident was suspected to be caused by the driver's improper driving operation, and no one was injured at the scene. The driver was not found to be drunk driving and this is being deemed as a simple traffic accident.

With the cooperation of the citizens, the traffic police were able to reposition the scattered guardrail, which was not significantly damaged, back into place, within half an hour.

At night, the traffic on site returned to normal

Normal traffic flow and conditions were restored by 19:30.
