eg.: The new book is worth reading.

worth一般只用作表語

eg.: This house is worth ￡20,000.

2. be/become known as 作為……而出名

be/become known as它的後面可以跟表示某種職業或某物的名詞。

eg.: She beat the poor boy black and blue.

beat sb. on the head 碰某人的頭

beat sb. on the +身體的部位。the不能用one's代替。

eg.: His father beat his son on the head.
