BBQ and Beer @ Tea House Beer Garden

As Suzhou kicks into full swing for the summer, we went to see if Hyatt’s new beer garden could satisfy our cravings for a full-on summer barbeque.

Everyday from 5.30pm to 11pm at the outdoor patio of the Tea House, the BBQ tables are all set. A wide selection of seafood (shrimp, scallop, oysters, snapper), meat (lamb, chicken, beef), vegetables, corn cobs and sweet potatoes are all generously laid out. And a few minutes after you place your order, waiters will bring you your freshly grilled food. The BBQ dishes are all well seasoned and the service is impeccable. There’s also a small salad bar where you can pick up some greens.

As the Tea House boasts Taiwanese snack specials, be sure to try the delicious grilled Taiwan sausage, and also grab a beer from their excellent beer selection.
