昨日香港中文大學進一步通知了2020年春季學期最新的教學安排,並針對廣大學子格外關心的春季學期學費繳納事宜,做出可以延緩繳費的決定。具體繳費截止日期有待另行通知。
目前,香港中文大學2020年春季學期將於2月17日開學,5月2日結束。2月17日起以在線授課的方式按原課表計劃開展教學,未來視情況恢復面對面授課方式。
此外,針對校園疫情防患,學校進一步推出詳細的自我隔離政策。

The University has announced on 26 January 2020 the extension of Lunar New Year holiday and resumption of classes on 17 February 2020 as a result of the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, and online teaching will be conducted as far as practicable and feasible without compromising learning outcomes. With the concerted efforts of many supporting units and teachers, training sessions on conducting online teaching using ZOOM have been delivered/scheduled for our teachers and students this week, and more will be arranged in the coming week.
In view of these developments, the University has made some special arrangements to cater for the particular needs of students and to facilitate their learning during this period of time. Details are as follow:
1. Term and Tuition Fee Arrangement
The second term of 2019/20 has been extended for two weeks, and the term end date is 2 May 2020;
The Reading Week for undergraduate students will be kept as originally scheduled, i.e. from 30 March to 3 April 2020, except for students of the MBChB Programme, the LLB Programme and BBA-JD Programme;
Students please observe the revised Almanac at the RES homepage;The due date for payment of Term 2 tuition fees for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will be deferred to a date to be announced by the University in due course.
2. Class Arrangement
To maximize students』 learning experience, synchronous online classes (including tutorials) according to the original timetable will commence on 17 February 2020. The University will revert to face-to-face classes when the situation allows, in the case of which prior notification will be given to students one week in advance;
Teachers are encouraged to keep good communication with students and upload reading materials to Blackboard to help students better prepare for the online classes;
Specific programmes (e.g. professional programmes) may operate on different schedules and operate differently as specified by the respective programmes.
3. Assessment
While the University may revert to face-to-face teaching when the situation allows, we have also prepared to operate on online mode for the rest of Term 2. Teachers will plan carefully and revise the course assessment schemes accordingly to cater for any eventuality;
Revised assessment schemes will be announced to students before the end of the revised add/drop period on 23 February 2020.
4. ZOOM Online Learning
As ZOOM can support both synchronous and asynchronous online classes using lecture-type or discussion-type teaching and learning activities, and is relatively stable for users at Mainland, ZOOM will be used for online teaching as far as practicable so that students can use the same platform for all classes;
Training sessions on ZOOM for students in Cantonese, Putonghua and English will be scheduled within 10-14 February 2020.
We will continue to closely monitor the development of the situation and will update all students of any further measures when deemed necessary.
嚴重新型冠狀病毒懷疑感染個案緊密接觸者自我隔離政策
1、有發燒或其他相關症狀,且於過去十四天曾到中國內地之宿生,將被視為懷疑個案。視乎症狀嚴重程度,該宿生須即時到大學保健處(辦公時間),或威爾斯親王醫院急症室(辦公時間外)求醫。舍監或助理舍監須通知大學保健處。如在晚間發現上述情況,請召喚救護車並通知保安組。
2、於大學保健處或威爾斯親王醫院急症室初步診斷後,若懷疑個案須入院作進一步檢測,須即時啟動自我隔離政策,直至有檢測結果為止(一般需要近24小時)。懷疑個案之室友,以及同層宿生,均被視為緊密接觸者。
3、舍監或助理舍監須儘快聯絡緊密接觸者,並提醒他們須逗留於自己房間內,以免病毒進一步擴散。同時,通知在外之緊密接觸者立即回到並逗留於自己房間。
4、所有緊密接觸者須經常佩戴口罩,並儘量打開房內窗戶以加強空氣流通。有檢測結果前,書院會安排瓶裝水和簡單食物以作照顧。
5、大學保健處會通知政府及書院有關檢測結果。如證實確診,緊密接觸者須由政府安排隔離14 天。大學保健處會監控受影響之環境。
6、如檢測結果為陰性,已啟動之自我隔離政策即可停止。書院工友會加強保護並消毒房間及清潔公眾地方。
7、舍監及助理舍監於處理上述情況時應儘量佩戴口罩及眼罩,並保持安全距離。
2月4日下午,理大同學們陸續收到了校方最新的通知郵件。
正如校方先前宣布的那樣,在線教學將於2020年2月10日開始,目前正在努力進行準備工作。學校盡最大努力為這種替代學習方式做好準備。如果遇到任何困難,建議同學們可隨時與系主任,項目負責人和老師以及學生部主任聯繫。
在郵件中,校方還提到鑑於新型冠狀病毒流行病的最新發展,很可能無法在短期內恢復面對面的教學。
以及鑑於我們目前可以使用的在線教學技術和能力,並非僅通過在線教學就可以實現所有學習成果,但是確保教學和學習活動的質量以提供所有學習成果是我們的重中之重,大學的教育使命。
鑑於對目前疫情的預測,高級管理層決定對2019/2020學年第二學期的教學活動採取以下調整的安排:
最新通知
1.在線教學:2020年2月10日至3月14日:
根據新型冠狀病毒疫情的發展,我們將採用在線教學模式進行教學活動,最長不超過5周,最遲從2020年2月10日至3月14日。
2.休息時間:2020年3月16 - 28日(或更長):
從2020年3月16日起,根據新型冠狀病毒疫情的發展,所有教學活動將暫停兩周或更長時間。除用作自修期外,這段休息時間亦可供離港學生回港,並為恢復面授而進行自我隔離。
3.面對面的教學:
在安全的情況下,將恢復面對面教學。所有學生將被提前通知,有足夠的時間準備,包括進行自我隔離,面對面教學。
4.特別安排:
根據充分的理由,將對少數有特殊要求或限制的課程或學生團體作出單獨安排。
5.夏季學期:
由於2019/2020學年第二學期的結束日期可能會推遲,學校原本計劃的夏季學期活動可能不得不取消。這方面的進一步細節將適時公布。
我希望上述安排將有助於您規劃未來的活動。鑑於這些安排,我們再次強烈建議所有非本地學生,包括研究性質的研究生,不要在網上教學期間返回香港。
