【試題】
茶擁有5000年的歷史。傳說，神農氏(ShenNong)喝開水時，幾片野樹葉子落進壺裡開水頓時散發出宜人的香味。他喝了幾口，覺得很提神。茶就這樣發現了。自此，茶在中國開始流行。茶園遍布全國，茶商變得富有。昂貴、雅致的茶具成了地位的象徵。今天，茶不僅是一種健康的飲品，而且是中國文化的一個組成部分。越來越多的國際遊客一邊品茶，一邊了解中國文化。
【譯文】
Tea has a history of 5,000 years. It is said that when Shen Nong was drinking boiled water, several wild tree leaves fell into the pot and the boiled water immediately gave off a pleasant fragrance. He took a few sips, feeling pretty refreshing. Accordingly, tea was discovered. Since then, tea has become popular in China. Tea plantations spread all over the country, and tea merchants became affluent. Expensive and elegant tea sets have become a status symbol. Today, tea is not only a healthy drink, but also an integral part of Chinese culture. More and more international tourists are sipping tea while learning about Chinese culture.
【解析】
① 傳說，是固定句型，和「據說」是一個意思，可以套用固定句型「it is said/believed that…」;
② 「散發」：give off;
③ 「他喝了幾口，覺得很提神」一個句子中出現了兩個謂語動詞，其中一個要變成非謂語的形式，因此「覺得」這個詞可以用feel的現在分詞形式feeling，表主動;
④ 「不僅…而且…」是「not only… but also」所連接起來的並列句;
⑤ 「一邊…一邊…「：可以翻譯成時間狀語從句的形式，用while連接起來。
