考點提要:
①either--or--連接兩個主語時,謂語動詞的形式以最後一個主語的單複數形式為準(就近原則)
②either of--做主語時,謂語動詞用單數。
③辨析：too，also，either
either 用於否定句，放在句末，之前加逗號。
also 比too正式一些，語氣較重，只用於肯定句，一般緊靠動詞。
too 語氣較輕，多用於口語，在肯定句中使用，通常位於句末。
④辨析：both，either，all，neither
all 全部，全都
①all指三者以上,修飾可數名詞複數或不可數名詞。
②all 的主謂一致：all的單複數由它所修飾或指代的名詞的單複數決定。
③all 通常不與可數名詞單數連用，如：不說 all the book，而說 the whole book。
④all可與表時間的可數名詞單數連用，如 all day，all night，allthe year；但習慣上不說 all hour，allcentury。
⑤all還可以與一些特殊的單數名詞連用，如 all China， all the city， all my life， all the way
both 都，指兩者。
①both 修飾複數名詞，謂語用複數。但 both…and…可與單數名詞連用。
②both, all 都可作同位語，其位置在行為動詞前， be（助） 動詞之後。
neither 兩者都不
①neither作主語時，謂語動詞用單數。
②作定語與單數名詞連用，但neither… nor 用作並列連詞，可與複數名詞連用。其謂語採用就近原則。
