17. enjoy oneself & have a good time玩得高興

異同之處：enjoy oneself和have a good time可以單獨用在口語中，表示祝願。也可以跟其他句子成分連用，表示在某處或者在某活動中很高興。

例1：Before that, you can have a journey and enjoy yourself.

在那之前，你可以去旅遊，開心一下。

結構分析：Before that是狀語,you是主語， can have是謂語（情態動詞can+原形動詞have），a journey and enjoy yourself是賓語。

 

例2：Have a good time! I am so sorry I can’t accompany you.

祝你玩得開心！很遺憾不能陪你。

結構分析：Have a good time是祈使句!I是主語， am是系動詞，so sorry I can’t accompany you是表語。

 

18. look after & take care of照顧，照料

異同之處：look after和take care of意思相同，後面一般跟表示人、動物等的名詞、代詞或者名詞詞組。

例1：She tenderly looked after her sick mother. (2014年6月四級)

她溫柔地照顧生病的母親。

 

例2：But sadly, hiring someone to take care of them while you go to work is getting more expensive by the year. (2014年12月六級)

但可悲的是，你去工作的時候，僱人照顧他們的費用一年比一年高。

語法點：-ing式詞組作主語。

短語：no longer & not…any more不再

異同之處：no longer和not…any more都表示「不再」，說明某個動作已經結束或者某個狀態已經不存在。no longer用在肯定句中，not…any more構成否定句。

例1：There were no longer enough fish in the sea for the stock to maintain itself. (2016年6月六級)

 

例2：The woman doesn’t find the book useful any more. (2014年12月四級)
