形容詞有三種形式：原級、比較級、最高級。表示程度不同。
He is tall. 他很高。
He is taller than me. 他比我高點。
He is the tallest. 他是最高的。(最高級要加the，表示那個最XXX的)
最高級：形容詞原形+est
tall ➔ taller ➔ tallest
fast ➔ faster ➔ fastest
1. 以不不發音的「e」結尾的單音節形容詞，直接加r 和 st
wide ➔ wider ➔ widest
late ➔ later ➔ latest
large ➔ larger ➔ largest
2. 以「 y 』 結尾的，把y 改成 ier 和 iest
happy ➔ happier ➔ happiest
busy ➔ busier ➔ busiest
easy ➔ easier ➔ easiest
3. 以重度閉音節+輔音字母結尾的形容詞，雙寫再加er 和est
big ➔ bigger ➔ biggest
hot ➔ hotter ➔ hottest
fat ➔ fatter ➔ fattest
thin ➔ thinner ➔ thinnest
4. 雙音節和多音節形容詞，比較級和最高級，加more 和 the most
beautiful ➔ more beautiful ➔ the most beautiful
difficult ➔ more difficult ➔ the most difficult
expensive ➔ more expensive ➔ the most expensive
interesting ➔ more interesting ➔ the most interesting
good/well ➔ better ➔ best
many/much ➔ more ➔ most
bad/ill ➔ worse ➔ worst
old ➔ older/elder ➔ oldest/eldest
little ➔ less ➔ least
far ➔ farther/further ➔ farthest/furthest

形容詞前加more 或most 表示更…最….
He is more important than me 他比我重要
He is the most important. 他是最重要的
形容詞前面加less 或者 least 表示較不…最不….
He is less important than me. 他比我不重要。
He is the least important. 他是最不重要的。
① 基本結構：……比較級 than……
He is taller than me.
The girl is more beautiful than before.
② 兩個之間選擇「哪一個更….」
Which is the taller of two boys?
③ 表示「越來越…..」
The weather is getting hotter and hotter.
Our country becomes more and more beautiful.
①三者或三者以上比較時，用最高級。
最高級前面通常要加the, 句末常接in\of短語表示範圍
He is the tallest of all the boys.
It is the biggest of all the three.
② 表示「最….之一「 用 one of the …..
Beijing is one of the biggest cities in China.
