　　Although cite, site, and sight are pronounced the same, they have different meanings and spellings. Cite means 『refer to (a passage, book, or author) as evidence for or justification of an argument or statement, especially in a scholarly work』, as in:

　　儘管cite，site和sight的發音是相似的，它們的拼寫和含義都是不同的。Cite表示「引用(一篇文章，一本書或一個作者)作為證據來論證一種觀點或聲明，特別是學術工作」，比如：

　　He does not cite any source for this assertion.

　　對於這種斷言他沒有引用任何資源。

　　When used as a noun, site means 『a place where something is constructed or has occurred』, as in:

　　作為名詞時：site表示「事件發生或構建的地點(也有網站的意思)」，比如：

　　the site of the battle

　　戰爭的地點

　　Sight chiefly means 『the faculty or power of seeing』, as in:

　　Sight主要表示「視力(也可以表示：見解/眼界)」，例如：

　　The dog lost its sight as it got older.

　　隨著年紀的增長，這條狗失去了視力。
