In a reversal of Thursday's decision, Israel will now allow a U.S. congresswoman to visit. The Interior Ministry said Friday it will allow Representative Rashida Tlaib to visit "on humanitarian grounds" to see her Palestinian grandmother.

The Democratic has family there. Israel had said it wouldn't let her and another Congresswoman Ilhan Omar enter the country.
The pair are critics of Israel's treatment of Palestinians and support boycotting Israel.

Thursday, Tlaib told reporters the main reason for her visit to the West Bank is quite simple. "My goal is to see my grandmother. You know, again, she's in her 90s. This could be my last chance to see her."
President Donald Trump, who frequently criticizes the congresswomen, wrote we didn't know what Israel should do before the country announced its decision to bar the lawmakers.
He said via twitter allowing them to visit, Israel would be a sign of weakness by the government.
Gibraltar turned back U.S. objections on Thursday and released the Iranian supertanker Grace 1 from detention. Gibraltar's government said it had received assurances from Tehran that it would not send the crude oil cargo to Syria.
Gibraltar did not immediately say, however, when or if the ship would set sail.
North Korea has fired two projectiles into the sea on Friday.

Friday's launch is just the latest in a string of tests. According to a U.S. official, at least one of the projectiles appeared to be a short-range missile.
The tests come only a day after South Korean President Moon Jae-in vowed to pursue dialog to help unify the two Koreas by 2045.

A U.S. federal appeals court has ruled that the Trump administration must provide adequate food, water and basic hygiene items to children being held in immigration detention centers.
A three-judge panel out of the U.S. state of California ruled that the administration had violated a 1997 settlement agreement that requires the government to provide "safe and sanitary" facilities.
In June, a government lawyer had argued that the agreement did not stipulate that a toothbrush and soap be provided to children during brief stays in custody.
Ethnic rebel forces in Myanmar killed at least 14 people Thursday in what appeared to be coordinated attacks on an elite military college and other government targets in the country's north, that according to a military spokesman.
The armed groups have been fighting Myanmar's military for several decades for greater autonomy for ethnic minorities. The confederation of ethnic forces, known as the Northern Alliance, claimed credit for the attacks.

Reuters reports Zimbabwean police fired tear gas and beat up more than 100 opposition supporters with batons on Friday after they defied a protest ban in central Harare, that according to witnesses.
The group singing and chanting quickly re-emerged at a main square where protesters were set to assemble and were again cleared by baton-wielding police.
