為慶祝改革開放四十周年，浙江省委宣傳部於8月至12月舉辦「美麗浙江」雙語圖文視頻徵集及推廣活動。活動面向全省各地各單位徵集反映「美麗浙江」主題、展現浙江改革開放以來取得的新成就的英文或中英雙語圖文視頻。
自8月活動啟動以來，活動得到了浙江省各地各單位的熱烈響應。12月3日起，中國·浙江英文網和中英文臉譜專頁，浙江日報新媒體運營中心，浙江電視臺國際頻道將在傳播平臺上共同展播優秀作品，展示美麗浙江的無窮魅力。美麗浙江，快看「浙」裡！
一、指尖上的非遺 紹興粽葉編織
紹興棕葉編織工藝於2013年1月入選第五批紹興市非物質文化遺產代表性項目名錄，是以經過處理的棕櫚葉為原材料，純手工編織各種作品的傳統手工技藝。作為一項流傳在紹興民間的傳統手工技藝，它凝聚著眾多民間手工藝人的智慧，經過一代代民間手工藝人的傳承和創新，紹興棕葉編織技藝被注入了新的內涵。
Palm leaf weaving is a traditional craft of Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. Craftsmen can weave all kinds of things vividly from palm leaves, such as insects and animals. It was selected as an intangible cultural heritage of Shaoxing in 2013. As a traditional handicraft handed down by the ancestors of the city, it embodies the wisdom of many folk craftsmen. Through the inheritance and innovation of generations, the handicraft has been injected with new connotation.
二、在舟山享受氧氣生活
「勇立潮頭、海納百川、同舟共濟、求真務實」的舟山精神，既是舟山自古以來人文精神的沉澱和積累，更是改革開放四十年來舟山順應海洋文化的文脈，發展、革新、創造的屬於這座城市獨有的新文化。近年來，舟山市堅持踐行「綠水青山就是金山銀山」的發展理念，圍繞宜居、幸福的民生嚮往，加快海上花園城市建設，人居環境有效改善，群眾幸福指數不斷攀升。
The soul of Zhoushan lies not only in Zhoushan people’s courage, tolerance, unity and pragmatism, but also in the unique new culture developed in line with the context of marine culture in the past 40 years of reform and opening up. In this beautiful seaside city, the happiness index of locals has witnessed a continuous rise with the conspicuous improvement of the ecological environment. Zhoushan has improved the local infrastructure, public services and city environment in recent years, with parks and gardens seen ubiquitously, schools and hospitals greatly renovated, and civil activities enriched, making itself a better place to live in.
三、平湖歷史文化名城光芒綻放
平湖地處杭嘉湖平原東北部，東臨上海，南瀕杭州灣。素有「金平湖」之美譽的平湖，物產富饒，是江南著名的魚米之鄉、絲綢之府，又是「中國出口服裝製造名城」、「中國西瓜之鄉」。枕江濱海，美麗富饒，平湖是鑲嵌在長江三角洲的一顆璀璨明珠。
Pinghu, a shining pearl by the Hangzhou Bay, is located in the northeast of Zhejiang Province with Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou adjacent to it. With a profound historic culture, the city has long been known as "Hometown of Silk」, 「Land of Fish and Rice」, 「Home of Watermelons」 and a famous clothing exporting & manufacturing city.
平湖也是歷代眾多才子佳人和著名學者、藝術家的故鄉，擁有豐富的歷史遺蹟、文化景點、博物館和畫廊。2008年，平湖被命名為 「中國民間文化藝術之鄉」。
Pinghu is also a birthplace of numerous talents, famous scholars and artists throughout the ages. The place has many things to offer to the culture and history aficionado. In 2008, the city was named as a Homeland of Chinese Folk Cultures and Arts.
四、秀洲「水上盛宴」網船會
嘉興市秀洲區的網船會，是與江南水鄉漁民生產、生活習俗相關的民間水上廟會活動。百餘年來，水鄉漁民、船民和當地百姓為祭祀元末除蝗救災英雄劉承忠將軍，通過廟會的方式，祈求風調雨順、出入平安、農漁豐收。通過廟會觀光遊樂、休閒購物，寄託情懷，特別是每年清明、中秋前後，江蘇、浙江、上海等地的漁民、船民蜂擁而至。2011年，網船會被正式列入國家級非物質文化遺產名錄。
The boat fair in Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province is a gathering of fishermen on the waters, which is related to the production and life of fishermen in the Jiangnan Region. The fair, with a history of over one hundred years, is held to worship Liu Chengzhong, a hero in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) who led a fight against locusts. Around the Tomb-Sweeping Day (April 5) and Mid-Autumn Festival (on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month), fishermen from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces and Shanghai gather together in Xiuzhou to pray for the hero for a good harvests, as well as a peaceful and safe life. Xiuzhou Boat Fair was listed as one of national intangible cultural heritages in 2011.
五、香積寺這麼美，不來看一看嗎?
香積寺曾是大運河湖墅地區著名的寺廟,是杭嘉湖一帶佛教信徒從運河到靈隱、天竺朝山進香的必經地，是通過運河進入杭州的第一座和離開杭州的最後一座寺廟。如今，修繕一新的香積寺與眾不同，寺前廣場對外開放，吸引了大量市民、香客、旅遊者前來觀光、祈福，香積寺廟也成為城北的標誌性建築。
Xiangji Temple is a renowned temple along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. In the past, the temple was a must-visit for pilgrims from neighboring areas such as Jiaxing and Huzhou. It was the first temple came into sight when entering Hangzhou via the Grand Canal and the last temple to bid farewell to when leaving the city. Today, Xiangji Temple is one of the most attractive scenic spots for citizens and tourists to enjoy the charm of Hangzhou’s Buddhist culture and canal culture.
