The National Meteorological Center forecasts that from October 24 to 27, moderate cold air will hit most parts of China from west to east.

The range of temperature dropping.

The temperature of Xinjiang, Northwest China, central-western Inner Mongolia, Northeast China, North China and the Yellow-Huaihe basin will drop by 4~8℃, even exceed 10℃ in parts of central-eastern Inner Mongolia and eastern Northeast China. Around October 27, the 0℃ line oflowest temperature will locate in southern Northeast China, central-northern North China and central Shaanxi. Southern Hebei and Shandong will experience first frost. Scale 4-6 northerly wind and 7-8 gust will blow north parts of the Yangtze River. On October 26 to 27, Bohai, the Yellow-Huaihe basin, East China Sea and Taiwan Strait will see scale 7-8 gale and 7-9 gust.

From October 25 to 27, light to moderate snow or sleet will hit northern Xinjiang, northeastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and central-northern Jilin when northeastern Inner Mongolia and northwestern Heilongjiang see stronger snow. Moderate to heavy rain will fall in Hunan, Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang and Fujian on October 25 and 26.

The meteorological expert suggests that the public should take necessary measures to prevent from snow and cold. (Oct.22)
