英文裡沒有像「沙」一樣表達西瓜質感的詞，可以用perfectly ripe-完全成熟表達。
(1) Perfectly ripe 完全成熟的
There's nothing better than eating a slice of perfectly ripe watermelon on a summer evening.
沒有什麼比在夏日的夜晚吃一牙沙沙的西瓜更愜意的事了。
Those tomatoes in the garden look perfectly ripe.
菜園裡的西紅柿看起來完全成熟了。
Grainy-顆粒狀的雖然有「沙」的意思，但是它形容的是overripe-過於成熟的果實，並不是褒義詞，相當於一些方言中的「婁了」。
(2) Grainy 顆粒狀的；婁了
If a watermelon is soft and grainy, that means it's overripe.
如果一個西瓜軟軟的、成顆粒狀，就說明它婁了。
The watermelon is a little grainy.
這個西瓜有點婁了。
