03junior和senior用法總結
junior，來自拉丁語juvenis（juvenile（少年的;未成年的）也來源於此），指的是比另一個年輕的人。它也適用於指年輕人，或者更確切地說，是兒子。
直到二十世紀，一個男孩或一個年輕人可能會被稱為少年（對年輕人來說，這有點倚老賣老的意味。）兒子和父親同名是一些家庭的傳統，就會在名字後面加上junior的縮寫Jr（以示區別）。
教育領域也常用junior。在四年制學校（大學或中學），三年級學生稱為junior，所以大三學生就是junior。：在K-12體系中，七年級到九年級的學生就讀的學校就是初中junior high schools
junior也可以指地位較低的人。
junior作形容詞，大致和以上做名詞使用範圍相同。
senior直接從拉丁語借用，意味著衰老，但在英語裡通常具有更積極的含義。
