相信各位2019屆的考研學子已經對考研單詞有了一定的了解，5500大綱詞彙的絕大多數詞彙也都能認識了，但隨著考研複習的一步步推進，我們又經常會發現很多單詞翻譯成漢語似乎是一個意思，導致我們在閱讀的過程中沒辦法精準理解原文，也就是我們常常說的近義詞通常會對我們句子乃至篇章的理解產生一些障礙，因此我們要儘早想辦法化解近義詞同義詞的難題。接下來馮老師就給大家簡單列舉幾個實例來講解辨析和積累近義詞同義詞的一些技巧和方法，幫助大家提高備考效率。
1. 積累和分析同義詞、近義詞，關鍵在於找「不同」。
2. 簡單記憶+結合語境分析=高效記單詞
例1：compel, impel都含有「強迫」的意思
(1) compel更強調迫使某人屈從、同意或做不願做的事，意為「迫使，使不得不」。
The failure of the experiment compelled us to adopt a wholly different method.
實驗未能成功，我們不得不採用一種全新的方法。
①compel常用於被動結構，表示「被迫，不得不，只好」。
It also means that governments are increasingly compelled to interfere in these sectors in order to step up production and ensure that it is utilized to the best advantage.（2000，Translation）
這也意味著：政府不得不逐漸加大對這些部門的幹預力度，以便提高生產率，確保生產率發揮最佳效益。
The European Union is now considering legislation to compel corporate boards to maintain a certain proportion of women—up to 60 percent.（2013英語二，Text 4）
歐盟當前正在考慮立法，以強制企業主的董事會成員中，女性比例接近60 %。
②compel也可接obedience, admiration, respect, compliance一類名詞，表示「使不得不……」。
The government may take steps to compel compliance with the law.
政府可能會採取措施強迫人民服從該項法令。
(2) impel表示「迫使」，更接近漢語的「驅使，促使」。
①impel 後接帶不定式的複合結構。有時可與compel換用。
Financial pressures impel/compel the firm to cut back on spending.
財政壓力迫使這家公司削減支出。
②impel也常用在被動結構中，後接介詞to，表示「迫使(做某事)」。
He said he had been impelled to crime by poverty.
他說他是被貧窮所迫而犯罪的。
例2：complex, complicated, intricate都含有「複雜的」意思
(1) complex指由許多(尤其是不同的)部分組成，因而比較難懂或難解釋。
It was a complex problem of many factors.
這是個涉及許多因素的複雜問題。
What he said was too complex for me to understand.
他說得太複雜了，我不理解。
(2) complicated指涉及許多互相關聯的部分或細節，因而難理解、難處理。
The crossword puzzle is too complicated for children.
那個縱橫字謎對兒童來說太難了。
(3) intricate指各部分相互糾纏不清或微妙而複雜地交織在一起而令人難以理出頭緒，或由於複雜精細而不易懂、不易操作。
A detective story usually has an intricate plot.
偵探小說通常有錯綜複雜的情節。
Inside the hood is an intricate arrangement of wires.
機罩內有錯綜複雜的線路。
總之建議大家在平時的學習中多積累，多比較和對比，學習的過程中多查詞典，並能翻看詞典上的英英解釋，最好能建立自己的近義詞庫，相信滴水穿石的力量，逐步積累，一定能登上考研英語這座高峰。
