它們的固定搭配及用法：

1，both…and…意思是「…和…都」，作主語時，謂語動詞用複數形式。

例如

Both Mary and Jack are students.

瑪麗和傑克都是學生。

2，either/neither of …作主語時，謂語動詞用單數。

例如

Neither of them likes football.

他們兩個人都不喜歡踢足球。

Either of the cars is popular with young people.

（兩款車）不管哪一款年輕人都喜歡。

3，Both/ all of …作主語時，謂語動詞用複數。

例如

Both of the two girls are pioneers. 兩個女孩都是少先隊員。

All of the three man are doctors.

這三個男人都是醫生。

4，None of …作主語時，謂語動詞用單數或複數均可。

例如

None of the students like/likes that film. 沒有學生喜歡那部電影。

5，Either…or…意思是「或者…或者…」，作主語時，謂語採用「就近原則」（謂語動詞和離它最近的主語在人稱和數上保持一致）。

例如

Either you or he is right.

Either he or you are right.

不是你對就是他對。

6，Neither…nor…意思是「既不…也不…」，連接並列主語時，謂語動詞採用「就近原則」

例如

Neither you nor he is right.

Neither he nor you are right.

你和他都不對。

Neither you nor I am good at football.

你和我都不擅長踢足球。

7，either用作副詞時，意思是「也」，常用於否定句句末。

例如

You don't want to buy a bike. I don't ，either.

你不想買輛自行車，我也不想買。

註：肯定句中表示「也」，句中用also，句末用 too.

例如

He is a teacher，She is also a teacher.

He is a teacher，She is a teacher，too.

他是老師，她也是老師。
