either or：不是……就是……、或者……或者……
neither nor：既不……也不……
either or是兩者取其一，neither nor是兩者都不取。
如：
Either you or I go to the supermarket tomorrow.
明天不是你超市，就是我去超市。
Either Lanny or Jack brings me the book.
不是蘭尼把書拿給我，就是傑克拿給我。
（either or是兩者取其一，必定有一個是要被選擇的）
Neither you or I go to the supermarket tomorrow.
明天既不是你去超市，也不是我去超市。
Neither Lanny nor Jack brings me the book.
既不是蘭尼給我拿書，也不是傑克。
（Neither nor是兩者都否定，都不選）
無論是neither nor還是either or的謂語動詞都是遵循「就近原則」，是根據離謂語動詞最近的那個名詞決定的。
如：
1、either or。
Either you or your sister cleans the room.
不是你打掃房間，就是你妹妹打掃。
Either your sister or you clean the room.
不是你打掃房間，就是你妹妹打掃。
上面這兩句話的謂語動詞是「clean清掃」，第一句離它最近的是「your sister」，所以謂語動詞用第三人稱單數。第二句離它最近的是「you」,謂語動詞用原形。
2、neither nor。
Neither Nancy nor her friends have lunch at school.
既不是南希在學校吃午飯，也不是她朋友。（南希和她的朋友都不在學校吃午飯）
Neither Nancy nor Mike has lunch at school.
南希和麥克都不在學校吃午飯。
這兩句話的謂語動詞是「have」，吃午飯的固定搭配是「have lunch」。第一句靠近have的是her friends,複數形式，所以是用have。第二句靠近的的是Mike，所以用第三人稱單數has。
1、either or的反義詞是neither nor。
如：
Either Nancy or Lucky is good at dancing.
不是南希擅長遊泳，就是樂奇擅長。
Neither Nancy nor Lucky is good at dancing.
南希和樂奇都不擅長跳舞。
2、neither nor的反義詞是both……and……。
如：
Neither Nancy nor Lucky is good at dancing.
南希和樂奇都不擅長跳舞。
Both Nancy and Lucky are good at dancing.
南希和樂奇都擅長跳舞。
（both and是「兩者都」的意思，所以謂語動詞要用複數形式）
1、either單獨使用。
① 表示兩者中的任意一個。比如路兩邊、橋兩端、棍子的兩頭等。
如：
There are many trees on either side of the road.
路的任意一邊有很多樹。
（也就是路的兩邊都有🌲）
I don't know either of them.
他們倆我任何一個都不認識。
（也就是他們兩個我都不認識）
② 用在否定句後，表示「也是、也」的意思。
Lucy doesn't like running. Me either.
路西不喜歡跑步，我也（不喜歡）。
If you don't go to the party, I won't go either.
如果你不去參加派對，我也不會去。
2、neither單獨使用。
① 表示「兩者都不」。
Neither of them is coming from Shanghai.
他們倆都不是來自上海。
Neither answer is right.
兩個答案都不對。
I like neither book.
我兩本書都不喜歡。
（注意neither本身就含有否定意義哦）
② 用在否定句後，表示「也是、也」的意思。（此用法時，either和neither可以互換使用。）
Lucy doesn't like running. Me neither.
路西不喜歡跑步，我也（不喜歡）。
MIke doesn't like swimming, neither do I.
麥克不喜歡遊泳，我也（不喜歡）。
