　　A Notice about an Academic Lecture

　　At this time of the year, most students are focusing on meeting friends，taking part in social activities and preparing for the upcoming classes. But as you busy yourself with the new semester, please pause a moment to remember the famous Danish writer, Anderson, who would have celebrated his 200th birthday today.

　　在每年的這個時候，大多數學生都專注於朋友聚會，參加社會活動，準備即將開始的課程。但是在你忙碌於新學期的時候，請稍停片刻記住丹麥這位著名的作家——安徒生，今天是他200周年誕辰。

　　In commemoration of this great man's life, the Reading Club has invited a wellknown professor from Peking University to give a lecture about some of Anderson's unpublished memoirs. The lecture will start at 2:00 pm in Multimedia Classroom 401 in the Ranran Shaw Building.

　　為了紀念這位偉人的生平，讀書俱樂部邀請了來自北京大學的著名教授，做一個關於安徒生未出版的回憶錄的講座。講座將於下午2:00開始，在逸夫樓多媒體教室401舉行。

　　Such an academic lecture might not seem like the most appealing way to spend a Friday evening, but it promises to be an evening that will both entertain and inform students of Danish fairvtales. (131 words)

　　周五晚上聽這種學術講座可能並沒有很大吸引力，但是對喜歡丹麥童話的學生來說它有望成為既具趣味性又具知識性的一個夜晚。
