Endless night engulfs time and space, fears fill in our heart. While I don’t want to surrender. I am a fighter, not a quitter. I will defend against it with a lamp and a room of books.

Luckily, I`m not alone, there are still six comrade-in-arms here with me. We establish greater world based on ourselves` inner world. We gain power from partner`s spiritual power. Reading is a process of 「見自己，見天地，見眾生」.（是的，我又不會翻譯，略略略）Let`s talk about these six questions together.

《Charlotte's Web》by E. B. White is recommended by Estelle. This is a little sorrowful and much moved story about friendship between a pig and a spider. A friend in need is a friend indeed. When you are trapped in trouble, feeling helpless. Someone still stand with you and tell you that although no one trust you, I still try my best for you. In my opinion, the most romantic words are not 「I love you」 but 「I`m here」.
《大河の一滴》by五木寛之 that has only Japanese version is shared by May, a charming girl. Few people know about it. Most people live ordinary life to the end and we have no choices to master our life. As its name says, most of us are so ordinary just like a drop of water in the river. So following the general trend maybe a good choice for us.
《Hot, Flat and Crowded》by Thomas L.Friedman is introduced by Russell. Human are greedy and selfish to abuse natural resources. Sometimes we have to ask「Do we have enough time？」Meanwhile Human struggle with each other for private right. Countries just like to play politic games. According to Russell`s sharing, luckily, at least there is still someone caring about the future of world and human.
What is your hope of life?
Our new member and treasure girl Nancy brought《A street cat named Bob》by James Bowen to us. If we have no money, no love, no hair, what is the hope of life? You can memory, what or who has a great influence on your life? How about a street cat? This a positive story that a street cat changes a man`s life.
Plenty of people hope to live an oriental poetical life.
Philosopher Heidegger(海德格爾) came up with a concept：The Poetical Dwelling of Human Beings.（人，詩意地棲居） While how can we do that? Now Shirley brought us to enjoy the wonderful feeling of poem. If we live without poem, we will lose so many beauties.
What is meaning of growth?
Have you memorized any stories about you in your childhood? We invited Michael to share an interesting story about a little boy and his adventure lifetime. It`s 《Danny Champion of the world.》 by Roald Dahl.This is a story about courage and growth. It can teach more children what is right heroism.
What does the heaven look like? I have ever imagined that it is possible that heaven is a bookstore or study?
We can hunt for answers to our life in books. We can eliminate ignorance of the world with books. We can experience different mysterious journey in books. We can even get away from boring and ugly facts.Just like the movie《se7en》, Morgan Freeman roams around the library with 《Aria Sul G》（G弦上的詠嘆調），I believe library is saintly heaven.
As I believe，books are the resource of spiritual strength for human. Reflections based on books can help us establish the structure of our inner world. So reading is holy, meanwhile our study is also our sanctum.
