8月15日上午，牟平區圖書館尼山書院第86期親子故事會成功舉辦。圖書館兒童閱讀推廣人志願者安東尼老師給小朋友們帶來了英文繪本《The very hungry caterpillar》繪本，本期親子故事會共分為兩個環節！
第一個環節——安東尼老師為小朋友們講述精彩繪本故事
繪本內容簡介：
In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf.
月光下，一顆小蟲卵躺在樹葉上。
Do you see the egg?
你看到蟲卵了嗎?
It's here, on the left side of the book.
它在這裡，書頁的左邊。
Looks like a little white dot.
看起來像個小白點。
And on the right side, we can see a huge moon looking at the little egg.
在書的左邊，有個大大的月亮正在看著小蟲卵。
On Sunday morning, the warm sun came up and-POP! out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.

Look, the little caterpillar is creeping toward to sun.
看，小毛毛蟲正往太陽的方向爬去。

太陽也在衝著小毛毛蟲微笑。

第二個環節——玩遊戲，進行情景劇表演
從《好餓的毛毛蟲》繪本中，孩子們從中能學會不少東西：認知；數數；學會星期一到星期天；了解毛毛蟲是怎樣做繭，又怎樣成蝶的；學習不同食物的量詞；懂得東西吃多了肚子會痛，吃綠色蔬菜更好。
好的繪本會在平靜中傳達一種積極健康的力量，會培養孩子更高的審美品味，會給孩子內心埋下美好的種子，潛移默化的影響他們的將來。成功的教育不是讓孩子拼命地跑著向前，而是讓他在向前的過程中遇到挫折會堅持不懈。這本書告訴我們，哪怕是一隻小小的毛毛蟲，也能變成美麗的蝴蝶，更何況是我們的人生呢。
