2. Things to do:一eat Yuanxiao
Yuanxiao is a tradition food which Chinese people will eat in lantern festival. The traditional flavor is outside sticky rice, inside the ingredient is sesame or peanut. Nowadays people create more flavors.Why chinese eat in this festival? Firstly ,the shape of is round,and also the pronunciation of is similar to ,which means reunion of family。So people hope eat can bring them luck to the family.
二、 Enjoy the lanterns.
In the lantern festival ,some family will also make their own lanterns, the streets and alleyways are decorated with rich and colorful lanterns. And on the lanterns they will write some riddles to let people guess. Usually there will be a competition of guessing the lantern riddles.
The content of the riddle can be animal,place,name,idiom,etc. People enjoy a lot in this activity.
