今天講講英語裡出現率極高的詞---work,它的意思實在是太多了，說兩天三夜也說不完，今天簡單講幾個，以後再補充。
1. Work當工作講， I have to work to make a living, 我不得不去工作，賴以謀生，make a living 非常好用的短語，一定記住，謀生，混口飯吃的意思；
失業和下崗可以說成out of work, I have been out of work for months, I really need this opportunity! 在失業幾個月之後，我十分需要這個機會！Out of work 也等於jobless.
2. Work out ，解決和進展的意思 This problem will not work out ,這問題解決不了； The plan worked out badly計劃進行不順利
3. 起作用，奏效， 周末到了，Tomorrow doesn’t work!被粗心的人翻譯成明天不工作，實際上是明天不行，得改天的意思， Sorry, I already have plans, tomorrow doesn’t work, some day next week maybe work! 不好意思，我早有安排，明天怕啥不行，怎麼也得下個星期的某天才行；
4. 健身，非常常用，These athletes work out at the gym for two hours every day.這些運動員每天在健身房鍛鍊兩個小時；
5. worked out 表示工作過量後的透支，疲勞，He never seems to be worked out.總也見不到他疲憊，總是精力充沛；
6. work sb out,猜透某人 You're cunning, and I can't work you out.
你這個人太狡猾, 我實在看不透你。
7. 著作,作品
He is making a study of Vicent Van Gogh’s works.
他在研究文森特·梵谷的作品。
