【teaching aims】教學目標
1.Knowledge aim:
(1)Learn the following new words and their pronunciation:

2.Ability aim:

【Teaching procedure】教學過程
Step I Lead-in (1 mins)
Ask the students:Can you tell me what your hobbies are?
T:Then,I』ll ask you and your partner to ask and answer the following six questions:
(1)When are you leaving?
(2)How are you going to...?
(3)When are you arriving in/at...?
(4)Where are you staying?
Step 2 Pre-reading (1 mins)
Show the map again and ask the students to think 「what can a river bring us?Or what do we use a river for?」
導入和閱讀前的準備的活動在試講的時候都要快速進行。導入環節重在引入這堂課,Pre-reading則需要老師根據所學課文內容創設一些相關的情境,引導學生預測將要學習的內容。Step3 While-reading (5mins)Activity 1.Ask students to go through the passage quickly and find out 7 words about topographical features.Activity 2.Show five pictures to make students better understand what different topographical features are like.Activity 3.
