They exchanged the views how to improve Guangxi's meteorological development
On Apr.7, Guo Shengkun, Secretary of CPC Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ma Biao, chairman of Guangxi government, and other two government leaders met with Administrator of China Meteorological Administration (CMA) Zheng Guoguang in Nanning,Guangxi. Two sides made the thorough exchange on how to promote Guangxi's meteorological development.
Guo Shengkun expressed gratitude to CMA's supporting for the economic and social development of Guangxi. He said Guangxi's meteorological departments at all-level provided the timely and accurate meteorological service, which played the important role in helping decision-making and scientific deploy for disaster prevention and mitigation. He said Guangxi's government attached great importance to the meteorological development. They would enhance the investment in meteorological infrastructures and create the good condition & environment for meteorological development so as to improve the capabilities and level of Guangxi's meteorological service. Furthermore, Mr. Guo expected CMA to supply more supports such as talents, funds for them and enhance the cooperation to promote Guangxi's meteorological development.
Dr. Zheng expressed that CMA would enhance the support for Guangxi. He also hoped that two sides could strengthen the cooperation so as to improve Guangxi's meteorological development. Furthermore, he required Guangxi's meteorological departments should develop operation to focus on the center of Guangxi's government and improve the level and capabilities of meteorological modernization.(Apr.8)
