感恩節是北美(美國與加拿大)的國家性節日。但是學生們對它了解有多少呢?首先在引入環節讓學員具備一定的基本知識。
1. 簡單用圖片或者文字引出「Thanksgiving」這個節日,確定學員知道這是一個節日;
2. 將學員進行分組,可以配對或者分三到四人的小組,然後回答下列問題:

▶ Why do you think people celebrate Thanksgiving?
▶ What foods are associated with Thanksgiving?
3. 學員回答完以後,教師給予反饋環節,同時告知學員正確答案。
