for a moment、for the moment、in a moment、at the moment的區別，與 for 、in、at 的區別有關，for a moment 與 for the moment 這要深入理解 a 和 the 的不同。
1. for a moment「一會兒、片刻」(=for a while)，其本質就是 for 跟時間段，只不過這個時間段很短--- a moment。
Wait for a moment. 稍等。
He kept silent for a moment. 他沉默片刻。
I thought for a moment and told him the truth.
我思索片刻，就給他說了真相。
因為 for + 時間段 有延續之意，所以場合延續性動詞連用。
2. for the moment「暫時、目前」，常用於現在時。
Let's leave it aside for the moment.
我們先把它放一邊吧。
They haven't got any good ideas for the moment.
他們目前還沒有什麼好辦法。
3. in a moment = soon; in a few minutes：「一會兒、立即、馬上」，一般用於將來時：
I'll come back in a moment.
我們馬上就回來。
4. at the moment = now「此刻，眼下」，用於現在進行時。
At the momennt, she is reading a story book.
此時此刻，她正在看一本故事書。
