Hangzhou Indonesian Student Committee Welcoming Party 2018

The event officially began with an opening speech from the President of Hangzhou Indonesian Student Committee (HISC), Fandy Putra.「Welcome to Hangzhou for this year’s freshmen and fellow countrymates. I am here to introduce our organization, HISC. HISC has many divisions and we welcome you to join usbased on your interests.We have basketball team, badminton club and to many more in Sports division. As for Creativity and Cultures division, we have dance crew too.」 explained Fandy on his opening speech. The next schedule was a speech from the Head of the Welcoming Party Organizer, Allan Liando. During his speech, he mentioned, 「Tonight’s event is not only for fun and games, but also as an opportunity to create a sense of kinship among Indonesian students in Hangzhou, just like our motto of this event 』With Party We are Family』.」

Proceeding with the welcoming party activities,it was a performance from HISC dance crew, SanggarWayang. The performanceswere proudly presentedfrom a collaboration of traditional and modern dance. The dance crew also performed Indonesian traditional dancesin a lot of international events or concerts, such as, International Day and to many more. SanggarWayang never fails to amaze the crowds and spices up its performances. Most importantly, they never forget to remind us, as Indonesian overseas students, to be proud our cultures』 and traditions』 richness and beauty. Sanggar Wayang has truly shone as Indonesians pride.
