Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineer Test Interns will be responsible for development, delivery of automation infrastructure to support large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed data engineering and business intelligence applications for CS Technology.
Basic Requirements:
Candidates must be in their pre-final year of Bachelor or Master Course in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.

Job Responsibilities:
Understand how to make data visually appealing and simple to both navigate and comprehend for end-users
Aggregate data from various sources to construct streamlined data pipelines and integrate data from multiple PayPal systems
Identify key metrics and build exec-facing dashboards to track progress of the business and its highest priority initiatives
Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making

Summer 2021 Intern - Data Engineer, Data IntelligenceStart date: Summer 2021
Location: California - San Francisco
Key Responsibilities:
Partner closely with a Lead Data Engineer, working on problems that require tremendous creativity and problem-solving skills.
Design and deploy data engineering pipelines on structured and/or semi-structured data using big data technologies like Hive/Spark/Hadoop etc. to power our business analytic dashboards that provide insights and context to our senior executives to drive investment and prioritization.
Basic Requirements:
Working towards a BS or MS in computer science, data science or a related field (must be attending a university in North America). Please note, to be eligible for an internship, you must be returning to school for at least one quarter/semester after the internship is completed.
You have completed coursework and have a good understanding of data structures, software engineering principles and algorithms.
You are capable of writing solid code in Python or Pyspark. Python and Spark are what we use, not your top ones? We can teach you.
Familiarity with processing data using pandas, SQL, or Spark.
Familiarity with managing source code using Git.
You have strong communication skills and prefer to chart your own course to get the job done.
You are analytical and curious.
