Respectful 反義詞 disrepecful

showing or feeling respect 表示敬意的；尊敬的

We were brought up to be respectful of authority. 我們從小就學會了尊重權威。

He was always so polite and respectful... 他總是彬彬有禮，尊敬他人。

The children in our family are always respectful to their elders. 我們家的孩子對長輩總是恭恭敬敬的。

He listened respectfully. 他恭敬地聽著。

 

Respectable

considered by society to be acceptable, good or correct 體面的；得體的；值得尊敬的

a highly respectable neighbourhood 非常體面的社區

a respectable married man 正派的已婚男子

 

Note : respectful 用來表示對他人的尊敬 respectable 形容受人尊敬的人事物
