Lesson 1 A private conversation
Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. 『I can't hear a word!』 I said angrily.
『It's none of your business, 』 the young man said rudely. 『This is a private conversation!』
上面這篇介於初三高一水平的英語你認為「讀懂」了嗎？
具有高中以上英語的人都會認為「我讀懂了」。其實他們並沒有真正的「讀懂」。
他們之所以認為自己已經「讀懂」了，是因為他們「讀懂」時的「輸出語言」是中文的緣故：第一課 一次私人交談。。。。。
這種用中文作為英語閱讀時的「輸出語言」的「讀懂」很容易掩蓋我們學習英語必須具備的「讀懂」的能力：你的「輸出語言」(理解語言)是英語嗎？
這才是劃重點的地方：
Lesson 1 A private conversation：Unit One A Private Talk,A Private Dialoguea/A Private Communication.A conversation is a dialogue between two people.Private means it is only between two people,or it should not be known by everyone.
你閱讀時「輸出語言」是英語「讀懂」時，你一定是：
1、把你學過的英語「用起來」了(已學詞彙的不斷「復現」)(talk,dialogue,communication,between等等)；
2、「音」也一定是英語的：/lesn wn pravt kɑnvsen....../；
3、語音語調也必須是英語的：你自己體會一下，自己用英語「默讀」時，感覺是帶有美式語音語調還是英式語音語調，或者只是你自己的語音語調？或者乾脆只是中文的發音(「輸出語言」是中文)？
4.你自己給自己創造了英語「語言環境」，也解決了英語「沒有使用的語言環境」問題：閱讀時的「輸入語言」和「輸出語言」同為英語時構成了英語閱讀時英語的「雙向交流」，不再是「輸入語言」是英語，「輸出語言」是中文時的那種「單向交流」。
徹底認識了這幾個要領，你就明白了為什麼英語閱讀時必須具備「輸出語言」是英語的語言能力。
下面繼續做「輸出語言」是英語的閱讀訓練(把學過的英語用起來)：
1. Last week I went to the theatre：Last week means the week before this week.Last week means the previous week. I went to see a show.I went to see a play(下文出現此詞),a performance on the stage.
2. I had a very good seat.I had a good place for sitting in the theater,like a chair,a bench
3.The play was very interesting.It was a great show,a wonderful performance.
4. I did not enjoy it. Well,if we enjoy something,we appreciate it.We love it so much.
5.A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were sitting at my back.If you are behind something or somebody,you are at the back of it.
6. They were talking loudly. They were talking in a very loud voice.They eete having a conversation/dialogue in a loud voice.
7. I got very angry. I became very anger.I turned into anger.
8. I could not hear the actors. I could not hear clearly what the actors were saying at all.
9.I turned round. I turned my head round.I turned my head towards them.
10.I looked at the man and the woman angrily. I looked at them in an angry way.
11.They did not pay any attention.They did not care about me at all.They did not stop talking.
12. In the end, I could not bear it.Finally/At last/Eventually,I could not stand it.I could not endure it.I could not put up with it any more.
13. I turned round again. I turned round once more.
14.『I can't hear a word!』 I can't hear what the actors are saying at all.
15.I said angrily. I talked to them in an angry way.
16.『It's none of your business, 』 the young man said rudely. It has nothing to do with you.To be rude means to be very impolite,or not to be polite.
17.『This is a private conversation!』 This is a conversation only between my friend and me.
只有做到這種把「輸出語言」變成英語來閱讀時，你才算是真正「讀懂」英語(原版英語)了。
