在入學前，常常有家長諮詢以下問題，希望我的回答可以讓您對威思德更加了解。
Q：在學齡前階段，威思德希望給小朋友和家長們提供一個怎樣的幼兒教育？
A：威思德遵循瑞吉歐教育理念。瑞吉歐理念的核心即以孩子為中心，從孩子的興趣點和好奇心出發開展教學。因此，在威思德，無論是師資安排，課程選擇，還是教室布置，我們都遵循這一理念，並最大程度上給孩子們提供開啟興趣和撲捉好奇心的可能性。我們希望孩子們來到學校是歡樂的，有動力的，有探索欲。
在瑞吉歐理念看來，家長是孩子的第一任老師，老師是孩子們的第二任老師，而環境會成為孩子們的第三任老師。因此，我們也希望通過環境的創設來推進孩子的自主學習動力。同時，我們還通過主題的選擇和內容的沉浸為孩子們提供最佳的語言學習環境。
瑞吉歐非常重視社群關係的建立，威思德的家長有多個渠道和校方及老師聯絡，但是不包括微信在內。我們希望建立親密而平等、公平、透明的協作關係，對孩子也是種示範。
Q：威思德有哪些辦學特色和優勢？
A：威思德全校採用瑞吉歐教育理念，結合TSG teaching objective(美國)和中國3-6歲兒童發展指南，基於主題課程基礎及基於觀察所得的兒童興趣，達到一共10個領域的38個教學目標。它沿襲了瑞吉歐理念中以孩子為中心，因材施教的教育理念。
除了日常課程之外，威思德還提供內容豐富的體育活動，如遊泳、足球、馬術、瑜伽、高爾夫。同時奧爾夫音樂、提琴、童聲合唱、芭蕾舞等藝術課程也即將開設。
我們時刻將威思德五大核心價值觀融入到日常課堂中，我們希望學生們不僅具有國際視野，同時還擁有應對實際問題並解決問題的能力、良好的品格和生活習慣，培養他們迎接未來挑戰的堅韌品質。
Q：威思德的教師素質怎樣？
A：威思德國際幼兒學校尊重多元化，擁有國際化的教學團隊和管理團隊。學校的老師來自哥倫比亞、美國、英國、法國、菲律賓和中國，每個老師都是經過我們嚴格篩選，擁有學前教育專業學位和豐富的教學經驗。所有的中國老師來自於河南大學學前教育專業，本科以上學歷，英文六級以上。
威思德要招聘的老師不但要有專業的學科背景，豐富的教育經驗，最重要的是要有愛和有教育情懷。
Q：威思德現在有幾個校區？是否有班車
A：威思德國際幼兒學校目前在全河南有一個校區，位於鄭州東區眾意路26-1號，目前沒有提供校車。
Q：怎樣培養孩子的雙語啟蒙？威思德在這點上有什麼做法？
A：學校明確規定在校期間，在教室面對兒童的第一用語必須是英語，包括教師間的交流也同樣需要英文進行。浸入式的英文環境有利於中國學生對於英語的快速習得，從簡單的英文指令，到律動吸引的英文兒歌，學生在全英文的學習環境中會很快掌握溝通的基本單詞和句式。隨著年齡增加，外籍教師會展開發音和自然拼讀的學習和練習。
抓住幼年語言學習的關鍵期，是培養孩子雙語閱讀啟蒙的關鍵。遵循幼兒閱讀萌發的規律，選擇繪本是至關重要的一步。在威思德，我們會提供適合不同年齡階段，符合不同年齡特點的繪本，比如小班，繪本要求圖文合奏，強調畫面的連貫和視覺效果， 重複的語言，適合兒童在發現、模仿的基礎上深入閱讀。
對於中班的孩子，老師採用生動的語言，開放性的提問，討論方式閱讀繪本，提高幼兒對故事的理解。也會選用互動性很強的繪本，增進孩子們的參與性。通過角色扮演的形式表達故事情節，增進閱讀的興趣。
每天我們有兩個固定的故事時間，分別是午睡前和放學前，老師會抓住兩個故事時間，根據教學主題的安排閱讀繪本，並會定期增加中文經典故事，增加學生對於中國傳統文化的理解。
Q：威思德國際幼兒學校的招生和錄取要求是什麼？
